1. Hot Air Balloon in Kenya

Magic doesn’t even begin to explain the feeling of flying into the air, racing the sun as dozens of hot air balloons hover across the Serengeti. As lions chase their prey and zebras graze in herds, this is by far the most unique way to experience a safari.

2. Tiny Mountain Village in Spain

For my twenty-first birthday we searched for the most quaint, tucked away village in Spain which we found in Arcos de la Frontera. The drive up the mountain was a gift in itself, but arriving and watching rays of sunlight beam across every rooftop was the cherry on top of the cake.

3. Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand

Queensland, New Zealand could not have been more beautiful with it’s quaint town and friendly locals, until we stumbled upon this view above the Skyline Gondola overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountains.

4. Camel Trek the Sahara in Morocco

One of the most spontaneous adventures I’ve taken was hopping on a camel and riding for hours through the Sahara desert. As the sun went down, each sand dune shifted from orange to a deep red, reflecting the hues of the sky.

5. Lake Negombo in Sri Lanka

You don’t have to follow great oceans to find a stunning sunset on the water. We dined on docks nestled on Lake Negombo and watched the sky turn from blue to purple like an illusion before our eyes.

6. Camps Bay in South Africa

My current home base and dream location, Camps Bay is one of Cape Town’s prime spots to catch a jaw-dropping sunset.

7. Bridges over Seine River in France

Sunset strolls along the Seine River of Il Saint Louis, Paris on a summer evening remind me why this city is considered one of the world’s most romantic destinations.

8. Longboats in Thailand

Many beaches in Thailand you’ll find longboat travel is a cultural experience you cannot miss. During the evening, longboats are parked on beaches and resume their route the following morning for travelers and fishermen.

9. Bush Camp on the Zambezi River in Zambia

An experience I highly recommend is to camp in the bush of Africa and sleeping amongst the wild. End the evening with a sunset under the stars and a traditional Braai over a crackling fire.

10. Seaview Bungalows in Maldives

Four Seasons Resort in Maldives offers luxurious over-sea bungalows where you can pull the covers off the bed and enjoy a sunset on the netting floor whilst cuddling with your lover.

11.Penguins on Boulders Beach in South Africa

Another favourite spot in Cape Town is Boulders Beach where you can swim and interact with penguins in a friendly environment. Although not allowed on the beach during sundown, you can glance nearby the large boulders and watch the sunset with the most adorable creatures in South Africa.

12. Sand Dunes in Yemen

For any adrenaline seekers or extreme travelers, Yemen is a tricky destination to get to but Socotra Island is a MUST see. The beautiful island habits the endemic Dragon Blood trees and is practically barren of tourist due to the long going war of the country. Camping is a dream as you travel from corner to corner of the island, and one of my favourite moments is beach camping on the dunes to watch the sunset with our wonderful friend and guide, Mohammed.

13. Cinque Terre Villages in Italy

Another magical place in this world which you cannot miss if you travel to Italy are the five villages nestled along the coast of Cinque Terre. Each village holds it’s own unique characteristics, but a popular way to visit each town is to hike along the coast and hop from one to the other.



  1. From the pictures, the one in Spain looked the prettiest over the roof tiles!
    Though seeing the sunset in the sand dunes in Yemen must have been a pretty epic and unforgettable experience!
